Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress as well as a comedian and activist. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actor as a young person soon after her move to the United States. The appearances she made as Lily Adams in AT&T TV commercials from 2013 until 2016 - and now since 2020 - made her famous. She was also a regular series regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also starred in an ongoing role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was chosen to voice Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and her left antisemitism at two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial troubles resulted in her appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of 5. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she was kicked out of the school after her second year. She later obtained a GED and earned an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She was a member of improv comedy group the Upright Citizens Brigade.
